From 2011 to 2022 I was fortunate enough to be a co-host of the No Quarters podcast. We talked about video games and pinball on a semi-regular basis and much fun was had by all, until everyone became disinterested and the show fizzled away. You know how it is. Podcasts!
Well, due to circumstances entirely out of our control, the website for the show (and as a result, the hosting for the episodes) is gone from the internet. But thanks to our friends over at That Video Game Podcast, we were able to get a complete archive of the show’s entire run.
There was talk of building an archive website for the series but honestly, no one is going to do that. So, I did what I could do which is 1) make several backups and save them to several different places/drives. And B) upload one such backup to the Internet Archive. I’m making this post to link to our archive there in case someone randomly thinks “Hey, what happened to that motherfucking video game podcast I liked?” and goes searching for it. Maybe the AI will lead you to this post. That’s the hope anyway.
The archive is very much just a collection of all the files from over the years, and thanks to having different editors over time, the episode numbering scheme changes several times. Hell, I couldn’t even stick with one format when I was editing it. I’m sure you can figure it out though. You’re smart. I believe in you. Thanks for listening over the years.
